There are many Spas in North Cyprus these days, many of them within hotels, that can offer guests the ultimate in pampering and relaxation in the form of an on-site Spa.  There are also some very good treatments available too, from massages to facials and more.  But, we will obviously be writing about our own Spa at Thalassa Beach Resort in this article!

At the superb Thalassa Beach Resort, where the sea already calms the soul and the environment is tailor-made for total relaxation with its natural vibes, the recent opening of our new Spa and Hamam is still a very welcome addition to the wide array of facilities available to everyone.

Our new, all-purpose building, which features our indoor heated pool as well, is located near to Deks Restaurant, adjacent to the resort gym, a perfect combination of buildings!  Pop to the gym for a workout, swim a few lengths to stretch out in the warm salt water technology indoor pool, eat a refreshing and freshly prepared breakfast, all before your Spa treatment – sounds like heaven!

Our therapists, Tina and Yuliana, are trained professionals and are absolutely meticulous at what they do, offering clients a completely stress-free environment – a place where it is not just the treatment that helps to relax you.  The Spa, of course, has been constructed thoughtfully, with warm woods and soft lighting to enhance the feel-good factor, along with making the best use of the natural light too.

Along with the Spa comes a truly authentic Hamam, decorated in Aztec tiles with traditional brass fixtures and fittings to take you back to the yesteryear style of public bathing.  However, in this case, the venue is a very private one.  Our Hamam treatments feature a refreshing body scrub, with a foam and body wash to make you feel completely cleansed and rejuvenated.  Of course, clients may also use the Hamam’s Turkish bath and sauna area too.

A wide range of treatments is available from our therapists, from facials and nail treatments to Shiatsu, Thai, and Balinese massages.  Aromatherapy relaxation massages are a popular choice for a really deep tissue massage with relaxing oils.  Some additions to the treatment menu include the sensuous Hot Stone massage to relax muscles and the wonderful 4 Hands massage, where our therapists join together for a really invigorating experience which will leave you feeling utterly energised and ready for anything!
